Smart Setup

What Smart Setup does

• Looks at connected calendars and imported schedule items during setup.
• Sorts obvious kid-specific events into the right family columns when Farmark can make a confident match.
• Leaves uncertain items editable so a parent can fix names, times, and assignments.
• If Smart Setup cannot make a confident suggestion, it should leave the item for review instead of pretending it knows.

Use it first

1. Create the account.
2. Add family members and colors.
3. Connect calendars that already hold real family events or import a schedule photo.
4. Start the trial when you are ready to keep using Farmark.
5. Check the calendar before putting it on a shared display.

When to add manual events

• Add one-off items manually when there is no source calendar or schedule photo.
• Use Photo Schedule Import for flyers, screenshots, paper schedules, and appointment cards.
• Keep private event details hidden before opening Farmark on a family display.

If setup looks incomplete

1. Finish adding family members first.
2. Reconnect or re-import the source schedule if Farmark shows a connection problem.
3. Review uncertain imported items before saving them.
4. If the dashboard is open on a paired display, give it a moment to update after setup changes.
